Accreditations
The Facilities Engineering Technology (FET) and Marine Engineering Technology (MET) Programs are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, . ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. It is the top accrediting agency for engineering schools in the United States, and is controlled by a board of directors consisting of members designated by the major professional engineering societies. This board establishes the criteria for accreditation and votes on the accreditation recommendations of auditing teams of practicing engineers and engineering educators.
