A study of maritime art forms used by sailors, and various traditions of costal communities. Examines processes and art mediums though hands-on projects and literature.
HUM 120 - Introduction to Visual Arts

Prerequisite(s): NONE
Hands-on introduction to culture and practice of visual arts in a wide range of media, skills and techniques. Explores literary and historical contects of classical and contemporary art through experiential projects and lectures.
EGL 225 - Creative Writing

An introduction to creative writing, with an emphasis on style and self-expression in prose and poetry. Through a combination of lecture, small class discussions, and intensive workshops, students will develop the elements of their own literary practice.
