Liquid & Gas Cargo Handling
The Transas Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator is used for training and familiarization of students and tanker personnel in the safe and efficient cargo handling and auxiliary operations control functions aboard different types of liquid cargo carriers and gas tankers (spherical and membrane models). Students can study different tankers layouts, gear, systems and machinery control. They can practice the correct performance of cargo handling operations in standard operating conditions and emergency situations. This simulator is capable of being integrated with both PISCES II (Potential Incident Simulation, Control and Evaluation System) and the bridge simulators to bring the concept of team learning to new levels.
